Utah offers great canoeing and kayaking on the Colorado River, Green River, San Juan River and Lake Powell. Colorado offers canoeing and kayaking opportunities on the Colorado River, Dolores River, San Miguel River, Animas River and Gunnison River. The bulk of Navajo Lake is in New Mexico and part of Lake Powell also extends into Arizona.
